CHERY Lays the Foundation for Strong Growth in Thailand
Thailand is one of CHERY’s key strategic markets in Southeast Asia, and the company continues to invest while building the long-term foundations needed to support sustainable growth. Its success over the first half of the year clearly reflects the brand’s potential and its growing acceptance among Thai consumers.
One key milestone is the progress of CHERY’s vehicle assembly plant in Rayong province, an investment of more than THB 5 billion on a 104-rai site that will serve as a major production base to support the company’s business expansion in Thailand and the region.
At the same time, the company continues to expand its 3S dealer network, which now comprises 55 dealers nationwide, with a target of growing its showrooms to 70 locations by the end of 2026 to broaden access to its products and services across every region.

To strengthen after-sales service, from August 2026 the company plans to open Certified Body and Paint centers for fully integrated support. CHERY customers will benefit from a network of leading insurance partners, along with fast repair processes held to the same standard nationwide — reflecting the company’s commitment to elevating the service experience and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
The company also plans to expand its spare-parts warehouse from 5,000 to 10,000 square meters in the Bangna–Trad area to support the growing number of CHERY vehicles in Thailand and make parts management faster and more comprehensive.
Alongside this, CHERY is investing in its after-sales workforce, allocating more than THB 34 million to establish a Training Center for technical and after-sales personnel, scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. The center will raise knowledge, skills, and service standards in line with CHERY’s global benchmarks while supporting future business growth.
In customer care, CHERY listens to the voice of its customers, drawing on their feedback as inspiration. Over the first half of the year, the company improved service quality on several fronts, including an investment of more than THB 46 million to provide replacement side mirrors for the Chery V23 to improve usability, the provision of courtesy cars during maintenance and repairs, and a doubling of its wall charger installation teams to meet customer demand more quickly and efficiently.

On performance, the Chery Q features a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) system for agility and driving enjoyment, powered by an electric motor delivering up to 122 hp paired with a 41.278 kWh battery, for a maximum range of 400 km on a single full charge under the NEDC standard.

The Chery Q’s first highlight is its Square-Circle design concept, striking a balance between square lines and rounded forms to combine cuteness, modernity, and sportiness in a single car — earning international recognition with the 2026 German Red Dot Product Design Award in the Product Design category.
Signature design details include Q-shaped LED headlights and taillights, two-tone side mirrors, semi-hidden door handles, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and a floating C-pillar that blends smoothly into the side window line.

The Chery Q is designed with a roomy, airy cabin that comfortably accommodates both driver and passengers. Inside, a Smart Centre Console adds storage for belongings and daily essentials, while a 50W Wireless Charger enables fast wireless smartphone charging. The charging area follows a Flexible Space concept that can be reconfigured to suit the user’s needs.

Having introduced the full gang of eight characters created for the Chery Q to Thai consumers, Chery Thailand is now ready to welcome a new member designed by Thai talent through the “Chery Q Thai Qute Companion Contest,” the official character design competition for the Chery Q.
The contest gives Thai designers the chance to help create and tell the story of the Chery Q’s journey in Thailand under the concept “The Best Companionship & Thai Identity,” reflecting a trusted companion ready to travel alongside its owner while presenting Thai identity and charm through a creative lens.
